CSS Named Colors
CSS defines 148 color keywords — from aliceblue to yellowgreen. That is 140 distinct colors: aqua/cyan and fuchsia/magenta are the same color, and every “gray” keyword also accepts the spelling “grey”. Each color below links to its HEX, RGB, HSL and CMYK values, shades, tints and contrast ratios.

Using named colors
Keywords are case-insensitive (Tomato, tomato and TOMATO all work) and are always fully opaque. Two special keywords aren’t in the list: transparent is rgba(0, 0, 0, 0), and currentColor takes the element’s current text color. Most named colors come from the X11 color list; rebeccapurple (#663399) was added in CSS Color Level 4 in memory of Rebecca Meyer.
For anything outside the keyword list, use the HEX to RGB converter or the RGB to HEX converter.
